With Summer on the way and the Siren Song incident behind them, Jasper and Eric want to enjoy the holidays before they return to school. Those plans soon go awry when Eric disappears without a trace. Jasper is angry at first as he believes that Eric had gone back on his promise to stay. However upon investigation he learns that Eric didn’t leave entirely of his own free will.
His anger turning to concern and worry Jasper turns to the one person he hasn’t been in any rush to speak to, his former friend Mel. When she informs him that she believes her former employer was finishing what was started and that Eric might not be on the island any more he wastes no time in searching for his long lost friend.
Who took Eric and what do they want with him? Will Jasper be able to trust Mel? Can the two finally put it all behind them for good this time?
